About
At The Upward Eye, that story starts by looking up.
Traveling the world, I aim my lens skyward to capture the architectural moments most people pass beneath without a second thought. From narrow street senes, soaring atriums, to spiralling staircases and perfectly aligned cornices, I hunt for symmetry, rhythm, and the subtle details that turn structures into compositions.
Why look up? Because the most compelling lines and hidden patterns often live above eye level — in the way sunlight cuts a row of windows, how a ceiling frame repeats itself, or where two façades meet to create an unexpected geometry. Naming the site “The Upward Eye” is a promise: these photographs tilt your view, reveal overlooked perspectives, and celebrate the engineered beauty of the built world.
While architectural symmetry is my primary focus, I occasionally share other styles that complement the collection — a candid street moment, a landscape framed from below, or a study in texture. These are not distractions but extensions of the same curiosity: what happens when you change your angle and pay attention.
Each print and image on this site is selected with an eye for detail and a traveler’s appreciation for place. Whether you’re a designer looking for inspiration, a collector seeking a striking focal piece, or someone who simply loves to see the everyday turned extraordinary, The Upward Eye invites you to look up and discover what you’ve been missing.
